SPEAKER_00That's right. If you want to party with us in the other faces and names that you know from social media and TikTok, head on over to swingersociety.net.
SPEAKER_02I can't wait to see you there.
SPEAKER_00Hey there, pineapple people, and welcome to the Swing Nation podcast. We are your host, Northern Guy and Southern Girl. And we are back for another episode of the Swing Nation Podcast.
SPEAKER_02We are.
SPEAKER_00This time we're taking you on board the Bliss Cruise.
SPEAKER_02We are.
SPEAKER_00We're gonna travel down to Florida. We're gonna have a little pre-party with topless travel, and then we're gonna begin our swinging adventure on the high seas.
SPEAKER_02We are.
SPEAKER_00Are you ready?
SPEAKER_02As ready as I'll ever be.
SPEAKER_00All right. Uh okay, so little backstory for people that do not know, right? So we host couples on the Bliss Cruise, but we host them through Topless Travel.
SPEAKER_02Correct.
SPEAKER_00And then under the umbrella of Bliss Cruise, there's actually probably four, five, six, half a dozen um other travel agencies.
SPEAKER_03Yes.
SPEAKER_00Of which topless travel is probably the largest. Yeah. So they're responsible for booking a good majority of the ship. Uh and then, you know, all the other travel agents come in. So the first year, or maybe even two years, I think for at least the first year, when we booked couples through Swinger Society for things like Heto and the Bliss Cruise, we did that ourselves direct booked to the the uh resort or the the cruise line. Yes. Uh and then we met um Joe and Shelly, the owners of Topless Travel. Uh, they actually used to be part owners in Bliss Cruise. That they sold that about a year ago. Uh, and they were like, hey, why don't you guys just come become affiliates with us? We'll basically do the same deal the resorts and the cruise line are doing, but we'll be able to do the bulk of the work of for you to do this.
SPEAKER_02Which actually made sense because that that's what their employees do. Like, we have one girl who helps us, but they have like a whole team that are very familiar with like the Bliss Cruise and how all this is run, as well as our trips to Heto. They can help you like with travel arrangements, like once you arrive on the island, how to get to the resort. They can help you do all of those things. So it just made sense to partner with someone that was bigger than us, that could offer the assistance that we need, and they were happy to have us.
SPEAKER_00Right. So, so when you book with Swinger Southern, you are actually booking with us and topless travel, which you actually get the benefits of both. You get their swag, you get our swag, uh, you get to ask Mandy questions, and then if she can't get the answer, she'll refer you to Topless and they'll find you the answer. So it's really, it's really a good partnership. And there are other groups. So I say all that to say we go down early to be part of the topless travel pre-party, which is not a requirement, no matter who you book with.
SPEAKER_02Right? You could just you could go directly, like you could Google Bliss Cruise and book directly through them, and and and that's perfectly fine. I mean, of course, you won't get our awesome amazing swag bag, but the price will be the same. Price will be the same. Uh, so uh basically every group has their own party or meet group, like there's several things going on around the port area. Usually it's Fort Lauderdale or Miami or some, I think maybe Orlando occasionally.
SPEAKER_00Orlando once in a while, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, but there's always some sort of pre-cruise party, really, because if you're getting on the cruise ship on Saturday, you need to be in the area on Friday so that way you don't have any delays. So typically that night they'll do parties. They've done uh they do this year and maybe even last year, the Trapeze Fort Lauderdale was like the official, official Bliss Cruise party. Um, so if you have never been to Trapeze in Fort Lauderdale, that's an awesome opportunity. Um, I know that there was like maybe one at the Hilton this year, and then also there was um the one at the Embassy Suite, which was hosted by Cal Blas Travel, which is the one that we went to.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Uh okay, so we traveled down from the Nashville area to the Fort Lauderdale area. That's about a 15-hour car ride. Um, so on the way down, we actually split it up into two parts.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Uh yeah, Dan likes to drive his truck. I it there's some tension there. I would prefer to hop on a plane and go. He finds every excuse to not fly. Like, for example, our bags will cost too much money to um to pay for, uh, even though we just went on a trip last month and we had the exact same amount of luggage, but for some reason this time, outrageous can't do it.
SPEAKER_00I like to be in control, right? I know if I go to my truck and I start my truck and I start driving in 15 hours, plus or minus, if we hit traffic or whatever, I'm going to get to my destination.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00If we go get on a plane, I don't know if I'm gonna get here today, tomorrow, especially the way flights have been with all this.
SPEAKER_02But okay, not to like keep on this, but like you could get a flat tower, you could have engine travel. I mean, like, there I hear you, but also like, for instance, on our way home, our friends were home before noon. We got home at like 11 o'clock at night.
SPEAKER_00We made it though.
SPEAKER_02I cried the whole way home.
SPEAKER_00You didn't cry the whole way, just part of the way. 785. But that's a separate story that we're gonna get into uh a little bit, actually, probably on this episode.
SPEAKER_02Okay, so yeah, we're kind of all over the place. Let's let's back her up. We leave home, we head towards Florida, uh, we split the the drive up. We ended up like thinking we would stop somewhere, you know, a few hours away from the embassy, which is where we were staying in Fort Lauderdale. Then there was some some conversation of, you know what, if we're only like an hour away from the hotel when we stop, why don't we just finish driving it? And so um we kind of went back and forth. The reason we were talking about all of this is because I I like just pulling up to a hotel. Like when you're like say you're driving, you're like, huh, I could be done in like 30 minutes. So then I keep an eye out for an IHG, a Marriott, a Hilton. I pull up, I'm like, hey, do you have a room? They're like, Yes, come in. Here's your room. Good night. You don't like doing that. No, but the problem is, is you're usually driving. So you're like, Lacey, find a hotel room. Well, I am geographically challenged. You are so like this is Dan, this is how Dan wants me to book it. He's like, Okay, now keep in mind, we've been in the car together like 10 hours. We're real, real acquaintances. He's slightly annoyed that I've only driven three hours.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02You know, we're this is where we are out of the 11 or 12. Yeah. So he's like, okay, go to Google Maps or Apple Maps or whatever you call it, and find a hotel off of the interstate. So like he doesn't want to drive 10 minutes off of the interstate. He wants you to get off of the exit and it like be like right there. Right. And it can only be like there's a few IHG, Marriott, Hilton, maybe at Hampton Inn, you know, if that's all they got, he'll do a Hampton Inn. But it's got to be one of those top few. And um, he also wants me to turn it off of like the graph or map view. He wants me to put it on 3D view to see what the parking lot looks like.
SPEAKER_00So are is this is not as important when we're not towing a trailer. But it's when we're towing a trailer, I need another.
SPEAKER_02So this is your typical. So I'm like zooming in. I can't figure we end up getting in a bike every single time. So earlier in the day, I was like, hey, why don't you go ahead and because I was driving. I was like, why don't you go ahead and figure out about what time tonight you want to stop? Let's find a hotel, so then we're done. We're not arguing at midnight. And then we got off top. I think that's when we were discussing if we should stay at the embassy or not.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_02So somehow we got off topic. We forgot.
SPEAKER_00Well, we decided we were just gonna stay at the embassy.
SPEAKER_02Yes, but then we called.
SPEAKER_00And then you said, okay, when I'm not driving, I'll call the embassy and it just extended our stay.
SPEAKER_02They were they were sold out. So that didn't work. So then we were like, oh, just screw it.
SPEAKER_00So now I'm driving and you are not driving. You called the embassy to extend, they say no. So then I'm like, okay, well, now you need to find us a hotel room.
SPEAKER_02I was like, we're fine, just drive. We'll find a hotel. In in in my defense, so last time we did this, we had zero issues. That's true. We had a perfect hotel, it was like one of those new brands. It was like a true spark, spark or whatever.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, so so it's like about midnight. Uh yes, typically when we like to drive because we're night owls. So we start coming up on like a pretty big exit that had like six or seven hotels, like a lot of hotels, lots to choose from. We went first to the holiday inn, and they're like, we're sold out. So I come back to the truck, and you're a cuss in already. Um they were all sold out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we went to like five hotels. Yes. All in the same exit. So this is like 30 minutes of driving to hotel to hotel to hotel.
SPEAKER_021 a.m. Right. And every hotel that I get out and walk in and they say no, he is getting more and more pissed off at me. So finally we stopped at like a comfort inn, which I mean, I wouldn't say we're bougie, but that's it was well, you know, it was not a great smells like cigarettes, and you know, the clientele's not. It was a little, it was a it was a little rough. Um, but they had a room. The guy even gave us he gave us.
SPEAKER_00Pretty sure I got bit by bug bed bugs.
SPEAKER_02I didn't feel like I did, thank God. But um, yeah, I mean, we we survived. We got up the next day.
SPEAKER_00We guess what we're never doing again.
SPEAKER_02Uh, you're gonna book a hotel room before we drive?
SPEAKER_00I don't understand why it's that hard. You just look at a map we're heading southbound on 95. The next exit is this. Oh, look, there's an ISG there. Click on it, go to the website.
SPEAKER_02Also keep in mind that you have all the apps on your phone. So, like, and you're using your phone for the cheaper.
SPEAKER_00If you can pull them and book them, that's fine.
SPEAKER_02But then I have to like give them a card number. We it takes two clicks if you do it on front of your phone. Okay, anyway. Anyway, we're off to a bad start. Let's get back on track. Okay, so we wake up the next day, we get in the car, the truck, and we get out of there. Thank God I did not experience a bed bug situation. We ended up getting to the Fort Lauderdale area about lunchtime, and that was kind of our goal because our good friends, I Know My Status, were hosting a pop-up at the embassy uh for SCD, SCI testing for people that were going on the Bliss cruise. They even made it's called the Bliss Panel, or I think that's what it was called. And y'all know we have, you know, a huge partnership and love for I Know My Status. And so any opportunity we get to see them and um and be a part of anything they're doing, we we hop on and we needed to be tested too. So it was like perfect. So we were actually just gonna go to they have a Fort Lauderdale location. So we were just gonna go, but it worked out that um they had they had a pop-up there. So just so you know, that this is something that new that Bliss did this year, and hopefully they'll continue it next year, February, April, next cruise. Um, but if you know you need to get SCD tested and you don't want to have to go while at home before you travel, you can actually be tested the day before you get on the cruise ship and have your results before you board the ship. Yeah, which is amazing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and that's only possible through a company like I know my status because the fact the fact that basically they take all your samples, they fly them then from Fort Lauderdale to Miami, they run your samples that night, and then they have your test results in the computer by the time you wake up. And then that way you get to go on a cruise ship and not only say, like, yes, I've been tested and and uh, you know, I know my status and it's clear, but you can say I got tested yesterday. So it's not I got tested two weeks ago, three weeks ago, a month ago. It's I got tested the day before I got on this cruise ship, and I can show you my panel and it's completely clear.
SPEAKER_02And it was super convenient. In and out. I mean, it honestly took us longer because we were filming some videos and and chit-chatting, but even with all that, we were in and out in like 30 minutes, even with all of that stuff. So highly recommended. Hopefully, Bliss and I know my status continue that partnership and hopefully we can help get that word out.
SPEAKER_00Well, and I posted that, you know, that I know my status is going to be there and that you could get tested. And there's some people like, well, what if you come back with something? You know what I mean? Well, same thing goes if you'd if you're well, I think they're essentially saying, like, well, you should get tested a few weeks before so that if you come back with something, and I I agree. But then you cannot engage, right? Well, you should basically always know your status, right? And so that the idea is, you know, me and Lacey are 99.9% sure that when we take that test, it's gonna come back clear. But that test is really just to show otherybody else that, hey, look, we are being responsible, we got tested. So yeah, I think you know, depending on how much you engage, you should be getting tested regularly. And when you walk into that test, you should have a good idea of your status already. But if that test is from a month ago, two months ago, it's really not not if you've engaged with anybody. It's not it's not really giving anybody else.
SPEAKER_02It's a snap, it's a snapshot of time for that moment. So if you've engaged at all, um it's not valid anymore. Right. And this is how often we tested between October 12th through November 7th. We tested three times with I know my status. Yeah. Which I know that we are not your average couple, you know. Well, it's expensive it's expensive, but to be fair, I know my status didn't cover all of those, you know. Some of those are were covered elsewhere. So it but I just want people to know that it this is very, very important. And we take it very serious, and um, I think everyone else should too. So anyway, if you're going on February and April Bliss cruise and you're thinking about needing to be tested, we highly recommend I know my status. Regardless of if they do this Bliss partnership, again, we don't know, we don't know what their plans are. I think the the expect from my understanding, expectation is they will same, I same, but even let's just say they're not, or you're going to Secrets, or you're going on a vanilla cruise with a bunch of swinger friends. There is an I know my status right there in Fort Lauderdale. There's one in Orlando, there's one in Miami. If you're in Florida, there's you have no excuse.
SPEAKER_00If you're going on a cruise, especially if you're going on a cruise with swingers, it's a good idea to swing by one of those locations. Yeah. And ever have a rig get tested prior.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So after that, we went um and grabbed some lunch, just the two of us. We went to Carabas, which was like walking distance to the hotel. Um, we went to TJ Max because you needed a white t-shirt for one of the nights. And then we stopped by the liquor store to could because we broke a cruise rule.
SPEAKER_00Now we're gonna allegedly for for educational purposes only.
SPEAKER_02This may or may not get our bags searched for future cruises.
SPEAKER_00It may or may not have happened.
SPEAKER_02But this is the risk I'm willing to take for y'all. The truth is, we're not big drinkers. Um, for us, getting the alcohol package does not make financial sense in order to break even on the it's somewhere between like 10 and 15. I even heard 18 drinks.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, somewhere between 10. I mean, get depending on what kind of drinks and what what package you get. They're bottom level or top shelf or whatever it is.
SPEAKER_02It also depends on how long your cruise is because it it's so much per day.
SPEAKER_00And it's and also But you didn't say it's 10. That's that's 10 for me, 10 for you. So that's 20 drinks in a day, and that's even it doesn't count like port days still count. I would so if you're off the ship all day, that still means you have to consume 20 drinks.
SPEAKER_02If I drank 10 drinks, you would have to like you'd be in the room, you would have to pump my stomach. I mean, like I would have asked.
SPEAKER_00So anyway, for us, and if it works for you, great. I mean, I I'm not I'm not uh saying that that's an issue at all, but for us it just doesn't work. No, um, it is inconvenient. So if you don't have if you've never been on a cruise before and you're like, should I get the drink package or not? All right, so just know that break-even, you gotta drink somewhere around 10 drinks a day. Now, maybe if you drink some super expensive drinks, it could be a little bit less than that, but somewhere around there. Um, but if you don't get the drink package, you pay per drink. And to do that, they have to like swipe your card and then they bring you back a receipt. You have to tip and sign it. So it does, it seems to me at least, it's quicker if you have the drink package to get the drinks. And I think that's probably part of what the perk of having it.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we hear that a lot. The convenience. Okay, listen, I'm all about convenience, but we have done the drink package and we have not done the drink package. And I think like the drink package is like $2,000 for a couple. We spent about $500 on this cruise on alcohol. Um, I I'm not paying $1,500 for convenience.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Not happening. I'd rather go to the spa.
SPEAKER_00We're pretty bougie and we still can't do that.
SPEAKER_02I'd rather go to the spa. I'd I mean, there's just so many things I'd rather spend it on than alcohol. That's me. Obviously, if you're going on a cruise, it's your money, it's your you could do whatever you want. Anyway, so allegedly for entertainment purposes, we may or may not have gone to the liquor store and bought the airplane size bottles, bottles of fireball.
SPEAKER_00Right. You can get Malibu, you can get fireball, you can get vodka. Um, and allegedly for educational purposes, if you take those packets of airplane bottles and you break them up and just kind of mix them into your luggage, like in your bag with your bathroom stuff. They might be soap, they might be lotion, they might be whatever. Uh, and it turns out that maybe, allegedly for educational purposes, when they scan your bags, they're looking for liquor bottles. Yeah. And big bottles. Like glass of and glass bottles.
SPEAKER_02Because you can get some things on. You can bring wine, I think it's like one bottle per couple, you can bring like a 12 heck of sodas, you can bring a case of water. So, like, there is some like wiggle room there. Um, we've heard people do this sometimes, and we've heard people not do it. Like, we've done people we know have done it.
SPEAKER_00Allegedly, people we know have done it both ways, done the airplane bottle thing and had it get through security without any issues.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, which ended up coming in clutch because there was no other fireball on the cruise ship, except for our friends that had it. Our friends.
SPEAKER_00Allegedly.
SPEAKER_02Yes. Um, and you also don't have to mix it with anything. Like we've heard of friends bringing like Malibu before, but then you have to get like the mixers. You gotta get like a glass of like pineapple juice and then pour it or whatever. The fireballs, you just put it in your pocket, shoot it, throw it in the trash, and you're done.
SPEAKER_00And you're done.
SPEAKER_02So anyway, we made a a friend of ours allegedly allegedly made a trip to the store, the liquor store, and got some of those.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_02So after that, we came back and we went to the topless travel meeting. This is a meeting that they have every cruise prior to boarding. This is with their staff and their host couples. Now, we are not considered a host couple, or staff, really, or staff, but somehow we always like we always come in, we go.
SPEAKER_00Well, because we're affiliate. I mean, we book, you know, couples through topless travel. So we like to know what triple, you know, we like to be in the know of what you know when the topless travel events are. You know, they give you some, you know, sometimes there's some insider information that then we we can share with our members to make sure that they're in the right place at the right time. Uh, and so it was good. So one of the things that came out of that meeting is that um the ship was actually getting a surprise, well, not a surprise, they were getting inspected the next day. So it kind of pushed the whole calendar uh back a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so um, so yeah, we were able to to pass that on to our friends. Of course, Bliss pushed it out as well, but we had a little bit. Of like knowledge behind the scenes. So we did that meeting, and then it was really time to just like go and relax before the meet and greet. So we, like I said earlier, we did the topless travel meet and greet. It is very low-key. Um, it's not anything um fancy, it is like a traditional hotel takeover ballroom, not a lot of fancy decorations, not really just like a DJ and a couple of like cash bars and some tables and chairs, and it's really just like an opportunity to mix and mingle. You have everything from like shorts and jeans to like ball gowns. I usually just try to do something in the middle, but also make it comfy and I I think I wore nice jeans and a button up, and you wore what, a romper or something? Yeah, I did. I wore a romper. And so the party is great. Uh I will say the music takes a little while to really get going as far as like our style of music because they are literally playing to like 20-year-olds to like 75, 80 year olds. So they started out kind of slow, and as the night builds, it gets more EDM towards the end of the night. So we typically shut it down because that's when our favorite music happens.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, which to be fair, that's I mean, they have to do that, right? So I think literally uh DJ Frisky, who was the one that DJing that party, uh, I think I felt like he started in the 80s and then he went to the 90s, and then he went to the 2000s, and then he started playing some, you know, some mixes and then some EDM and kept kind of getting harder as the the night went on. Yeah, you know.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So um there's not a lot of playing that goes on at this meet and greet. I mean, there's no playrooms. So if you choose to engage, you have to go back to your room. Are people doing it? I'm sure. I'm sure of it. But typically I find that most people are just like kind of mentally preparing themselves to get up early, get on the ship, get things going. Um, you're about to have seven, eight days at sea with these amazing playrooms and all these really fun opportunities to engage with couples. So I think a lot of people, and also a lot of people travel in till they're tired. So a lot of dancing, a lot of like checking people out, a lot of mixing and mingling.
SPEAKER_00But I will say at that pre-party, we did meet two or three. There's like a a group of other couples that were like our age.
SPEAKER_02They were very attractive. I think they listened to the podcast, so you know who you are. They immediately like spoke to us and were so kind, and we saw them throughout the cruise. And it it's kind of hard for us to like meet new groups of people and like completely immerse ourselves within that group. But if there was a group that we were gonna do it with, they were a fun, fun group.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I kind of regret we didn't get to spend more time with that group of people on the ground. I mean, we kept running into them randomly, but we you know there were several.
SPEAKER_02Um, like that group, and I can think of a couple of other couples that I was really attracted to that we got close. Um, but there's just so much going on for us. It's just hard for us to really engage and make those new connections, and then that equal having sex. Yeah, so um, but everyone was it was awesome. We ended up going to bed around midnight or going up to our room. We had we were a little tipsy, or at least I was.
SPEAKER_00You were, yeah.
SPEAKER_02And we had some hot fucking sex.
SPEAKER_00We did.
SPEAKER_02We had sex on the balcony of the embassy overlooking like the main street, going to like the ports.
SPEAKER_00We did.
SPEAKER_02It was hot, yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I'm sure we'll get criticism for that. But to be fair, it was like almost 2 a.m. We were on like the 12th floor. You would have to really be looking to see what we were doing. And you know, I don't I feel like no innocents were harmed in the in the in the there was nobody out there, right? Yeah, well, there was traffic for sure.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean at the street level, but nobody was out on their balconies at this time of night. Um, if you haven't fucked on a vanilla balcony, you're not living.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_02I could swinger or not.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, like that for me, that is fun. I squirted, it ended up starting to like rain. So it was like sexy because like it was raining a little bit.
SPEAKER_00Like almost misting a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it was it it was a hot.
SPEAKER_00If you were on any of the balconies underneath us, you were definitely getting misted.
SPEAKER_02It was a nice way to start the cruises being connected to each other. Like we kind of started out like on a good, like we had this like hot, you know, like it wasn't at home sex. Does that make sense? You know, like at home you just like have sex before you go to bed, and then you like roll over good night. I love you. This was like hot sex, bent over.
SPEAKER_00We're about to go be dirty whores.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, yeah, yeah. Highly recommended. The pre-party sex. Yes, pre-party sex. So anyway, that was our night. We went to bed, we got up the next day to get ready to go on the cruise.
SPEAKER_00All right, I think now's the perfect time to take a little break and hear from the partners and sponsors of the Swing Nation podcast. And then when we get back, we'll take you on board the Bliss Cruise. Yes. All right, we'll be right back, guys. Lacey, one thing I don't leave home without when going to a swinger event is my ED medication.
SPEAKER_02That is correct.
SPEAKER_00Performance anxiety is 100% a real thing. Um, having sex in an orgy room with um a hundred people in there is way different than having sex at home in your bedroom.
SPEAKER_02It is.
SPEAKER_00Um, so I like to have what we call a little insurance policy and have some of that ED medication in my pocket. Um, shameless care is who I use for that. And they actually just came out with a new product called the Shameless Duo.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Which is a combination medicine that has Viagra and Cialis in it, so that one, you can be ready whenever, but also it's got that dose that you can take when you're, you know, as you're getting ready to go to the playroom and you need that to kick in. Yeah. So I love it. I mean, I used it at HEDO for the first time, and that that combination.
SPEAKER_02You've got to pretty much switch to that, haven't you?
SPEAKER_00That's basically what I use all the time now. Yeah. So if you're looking for ED medication, if you're new to the lifestyle uh and you're going to an event, you might want to get some and have it just handy in case you need it, kind of thing.
SPEAKER_02And the really cool thing about shameless care is they don't set you up on a recurring plan. So you're not going to get all of this ED medication that you have in your nightstand built up. When it's time that you need more, you'll get an email from them and they'll ask you, hey, are you ready for another round? And you can respond back. Yes, please refill it, or no, I'm good right now. Thank you. So it's really cool because you don't end up with all these extra pills and spend a bunch of money that you're not, you know, you don't need to spend.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And my favorite part is you don't actually have to go into an office and talk to your family doctor or a military doctor. Um, you can do it all right online from the privacy of your home. Uh you just go to their website, you fill out some forms, the doctor reviews it, approves you, disapproves you, and you move on from there. So if you would like to get some medication, you can go to theswingnation.info, click on the little recommended apps and products, uh, scroll down to the shameless care icon, click on that, and that's going to take you over there. Uh, there's some discount codes there for you, so you can get a discount off your first order. But uh I highly recommend if you're going to some events or parties, go get you some lifestyle insurance.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_00All right, guys, check it out.
SPEAKER_02Dan, so when we're doing the podcast, a lot of times we'll tell the listeners we are filming our content for OnlyFans, right? So, how do they find that content if they want to see like the videos that go along with the stories?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so that's a that's a great question. So you are correct. We do film for OnlyFans. We, you know, when we're uh going to clubs and events, we talk about sometimes, oh, we we did OnlyFans with So and So. Uh so if they're interested in that, they can go to theswing nation.info uh and they'll they'll see right there on the front page uh a link to your OnlyFans. We are running promos. We are uh and it could be anywhere from 50 to 80 percent off uh right now.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um so I think right now it's 80% off. So you'd have to, you know, go grab that right away. But if you like watching Orgies, if you like watching threesomes, if they want to see you uh take DVP, they want to see how big of a dirty slut you actually are, they can see all that right on your OnlyFans page. Uh, we kind of call it it's like another tier of education.
SPEAKER_02No, I was about to say that because I think like if you go to some of these major porn sites and you type in like swinging, you're going to find some things, and it it's usually not very good, let's be real. We actually will get and we try to get as many orgies on camera as we can because a lot of people that are joining the lifestyle, they want to see us do a full swap with a couple or they want to see us engage in an orgy. And these are the same people that we will have orgies with at the swinger club. With obviously without the cameras, we just kind of recreate it, you know, at opportunities that we can film. So if you're thinking about joining the lifestyle and you're like, man, I need to know, I need to see like how they're navigating this. Our OnlyFans can be kind of educational, if you ask me.
SPEAKER_00I agree. So go over to theswingnation.info, click that blue and white button, and uh go sign up today. Yeah, check it out. We appreciate you guys. Lacey, if you're gonna be a swinger, yeah, you need to be a responsible swinger.
SPEAKER_01I agree.
SPEAKER_00Uh, and part of being a responsible swinger is getting tested on a regular basis.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Now, something I didn't know is not all STI STD testing is the same.
SPEAKER_02That is correct.
SPEAKER_00Not every family doctor fully understands how you should be getting tested.
SPEAKER_02That is correct. What one doctor thinks is a full panel, another doctor may have a completely different version of that.
SPEAKER_00And being somebody in the lifestyle and engaging with multiple partners, um what you should be getting tested for is probably if you're not telling your doctor that, what you should be getting tested for is probably different than what they're thinking in their head.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because they don't know your lifestyle, or or even if they do know your lifestyle, there's a like, for instance, there is a new one called MGN, and we just recently met a doctor at a lifestyle party and said that she had never even heard about it. And so she was awesome that we had educated her on that. So a lot of these doctors don't they don't know it all.
SPEAKER_00Right. So if you are going to participate in the lifestyle, you probably need to get tested from people that are meant to do this. Yes. Um, so we use I Know My Status. It's the same people behind talent testing who are the there's a company that tests all the porn stars. So they're used to testing people that um engage with multiple partners. They know all the latest on what STIs are you know coming up and and spreading, and they they track all the stats. I mean, they they know how to test people for STIs. They're the experts.
SPEAKER_02They are. And if someone that you engage with, you know, if they have used I know my status, they can actually give you a QR code and you can scan it and you can see their results right on your phone. So you can confirm everything that they're telling you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, 100%. So please, if you're getting tested, get tested the right way. We recommend using I Know My Status. You can go to theswing nation.info, recommended apps and products, scroll down to the I Know My Status icon, and you can get a discount off your first test. Um, but please, if you're being uh if you're swinging, if you're engaging with the people in the community, please be safe about it. Go get tested.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, because we want you to fuck like a porn star.
SPEAKER_00For sure. All right, guys. Welcome back. Welcome back. Thank you for listening to our sponsors. Lacey loves our sponsors.
SPEAKER_02I love I know my sadness because we just talked about them in the first half of the episode.
SPEAKER_00Good job. Yes, uh, okay. So we wake up. This is Saturday, yeah, day one Bliss cruise. Um, and we head for the port.
SPEAKER_02Well, we actually got a late checkout first. Right. Because, you know, a lot of people, well, for okay, so first of all, the boarding times were delayed by like an hour because of the random inspection. Because of the inspection. Um, but our boarding time was always like at one. So like it really didn't affect us so much because we didn't have that like bright and early board time. We are not those people. We stay up late, we sleep in. Also, we've done the thing where you like bring, you know, you're like you, you, you drop all your luggage at the you know, road where they take it onto the ship, but you have like usually we'll have like our book bags and like one carry-on, which typically has our swag back stuff. But we don't like I we don't like it when we have to just like find something to do. I need to go to my room. Yeah, I need to put my stuff down, I need to like get in vacation mode. I don't some people do a really good job of like throwing a bathing suit in their bag or wearing it under their clothes and they can transition into like pool time easily. It doesn't work for me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like, and also we have work to do. We have to, we have to um get all the swag bag stuff out.
SPEAKER_00We have to we usually do like a room tour video, usually do a, you know, oh, we made it on Bliss Cruise video, then we gotta pack all the swag bags, and then we gotta deliver all the swag bags to all the room and find our way around the ship to try to get to all these rooms because some of these rooms are in like crazy places and you get lost.
SPEAKER_02And if we get on the ship about one, that's usually when the rooms are opening up for us. And then like the sell away party is at about 3:30. So that gives us like two hours to get everything done, and then we we can, and then we can kind of go and almost like enjoy ourselves a little more because that that getting done and those swag bags getting out is a top priority for us. We can't really have fun until we know that that thing is done.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Now, for normal people um that aren't working, if you are a let's get on this ship as soon as possible so that we can maximize our pool time, it's totally doable. For sure. And a side note, that's something I've learned from doing more and more cruises, is at least for Bliss Cruise, nobody follows the what time to board thing.
SPEAKER_02For sure.
SPEAKER_00Bliss Cruise it's I don't know if other cruise lines actually enforce that, but it seems like if you have a if they start boarding at 9 a.m. and they give you a thing that says your board time is one o'clock in the afternoon, they don't give a shit. You could show up at 9 a.m. and they're gonna let you on the ship. They don't argue.
SPEAKER_02They're just like, okay, go.
SPEAKER_00I don't know if that's every cruise line or if it's just ro Royal and Celebrity, because that's who uh Bliss Cruise uses, or I don't know if it's they just do it for Bliss Cruise and they don't do it for anybody else. Uh, but if you are going on the Bliss Cruise and you are a person that wants to get on the ship early to go hang out by the pool for three or four hours before everything starts, you can get on that. It seems to me that you can get on that ship whenever you want.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, they don't, they've never given us any any issues. Now don't go try it and say, Dan, I like you said we could do it because we don't know.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02We're just saying.
SPEAKER_00Uh proceed at your own risk.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so we get on the ship, um, we make those first couple TikToks, you're posting those as I'm doing the swag bags and stuff. As I, you know, we go and deliver the swag bags, and then we come back to the room and we're getting like some of the luggage is starting to be delivered. So we're, you know, starting to unload some of our luggage. At some point in there, about the time that the ship is sailing away from port, you know how they honk the horn and they're like, you know, and then you can feel the boat moving, and everybody's out waving. About that time, I start looking through my backpack, and I realize that none of my medication is in my backpack. And when I say, like, so when I try, well, actually, I keep my medicine in these things all the time, they're little circle things, and I have them labeled with every single medication and what time I take it. I even I'm like a big Excedrin and Advil, I've got my Excedrin, I've got my Advil. So everything is in these two little containers. I don't have a whole bunch of bottles and stuff. Uh, I had taken my medicine that morning prior to getting on the ship pretty early because I woke up with a headache probably from drinking the night before. And what I did was I sat those little containers next to the bed on the floor. When we packed up and left the room, those got left. And we did not realize it until the ship was moving.
SPEAKER_00I literally think you were digging through your backpack and you're like, oh shit, I think I forgot my medicine.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00And I was like, oh, well, maybe I have time to get off and go run and try to get it. And then it was like the haunt, the horn hawked.
SPEAKER_02Like, I mean, literally, as you were like, It was like everything happened at one time. And you're like, and you look at me and you're like, let's get off the ship. And I was like, we can't. We cannot get off the ship. Not only is it moving, but we have all of these people that have paid to be on this ship, you know, and use our links and our affiliate links, not to mention, y'all heard last week that wifey hired us to help them show their affiliation with Bliss and behind the scenes and and to meet Serenity Cox and do all of these things. So I'm like, we can't go anywhere. We're stuck. And Dan's like panicking. And if you're wondering, like why, I guess if you're not an avid listener of the podcast and maybe just listen here or there, I guess let me give you a very quick scenario of my medication journey. I have been on Lexapro for a long time. I have been trying to get off of Lexapro for a long time, and I've genuinely struggled every time I've tried to transition off of Lexapro into something else. The reason I want to be on something else is because my libido has been crappy the last year. I cannot seem to lose weight. I feel like the like a lot of these symptoms that I'm having are side effects of the Lexapro. I have like no emotion or I have every emotion. Like there's no in between. So back in July, you know, I lost my dad in April. And in probably April, July, I was just a hot mess. And at some point something happened, and I was, and I don't even know what it was at this point, but I was like, okay, enough is enough. I'm going to have all of my hormones checked. I'm going to get off of LexiPro. I'm going to get a counselor. I'm going to, I mean, I'm going to do all the things that I need to do to take care of me. So not only am I a better wife, but I'm a better mother, a better podcast host, a better swinger, a better everything because I feel like all of these things have been affecting me. So this has been quite the journey since July. Um, I've gone from 20 milligrams. I had slowly walked myself down to five, not myself, but with the help of my, you know, doctor, got myself to five milligrams of LexaPro. This is right before we had the Bliss Cruise, and then we went to LA right before that. I went to the doctor and said, I don't feel comfortable going to LA and going on the Bliss Cruise at this five milligram dose. I'm really struggling with like my anxiety, with irritability. I just, I feel like I need to go back to that 10 milligram. And she okayed it and said, okay, go back to 10, go on your trips. And when you come home, I had an appointment three days after we were supposed to get home from Bliss. She was like, We'll start the process again. We'll go from 10 to zero. So I felt pretty good. Like I'd gotten halfway there, you know.
SPEAKER_00So getting it that there was that was a roller coaster ride in itself. Oh, well, for sure.
SPEAKER_02Not only for me, but for you, for my family. Like, I mean, I can remember looking at my mom one day and was like, she was trying to help me with something. I said, Mom, I I love you and thank you, but I am having a hard time regulating my emotions right now. And I just I can't I need to do this alone. So it's definitely been a struggle for me. So when I told you that they were, I didn't, and that was our problem with Lexapro. That's what we're I mean. Obviously, I need my thyroid medicine. I need like I need testosterone, you know, I need some of those other things, but really the Lexa Pro was like, oh my god. Yeah. And so that's really where the panic came in.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So you were like, let's get off. And I was like, Yeah, there's no way. So very quickly, I was like, it's gonna be okay. Everything's fine, everything's fine, everything's fine, you know. And you're like, like deer in a headlight, or you know, you were just like, What the hell are we about to well?
SPEAKER_00I just know what an emotional event it was to get you from 20 to 10. And then you even, you know, made an attempt to go from 10 to 5, and that was a pretty emotional event. So in my head, I'm thinking, now you're going from 10 to zero and trying to do that in this environment, you know, not at home with people that love and support you, but doing it while trying to party.
SPEAKER_02I was like, this is gonna be so on the inside, I was equally as freaked out as Dan, but I couldn't let him know that, you know. So I'm like, everything's fine, it's gonna be fine. So I knew, you know, when I could go to the hospital, the the you know, place on board and talk to them. Um, I knew a lot of people. We have we know tons of people. I can ask people, and I'm not one to like take medicine from somebody else. Like that's not my jam. I'm like a firm believer you take what's prescribed to you. But you know what? Sometimes you you get desperate in an emergency situation. In this situation, if somebody had 10 milligrams of Lexapro, I probably would have taken them. I'm not gonna lie. You know, I was like, hell, I'm in the Facebook group. I'll go and say, Does anybody have any Lexapro? Dan's like, Lacey, you cannot of Lacey from the Twee Nation podcast go on the Facebook page and be asking for drugs.
SPEAKER_03Right.
SPEAKER_02And you're right. I I shouldn't do that. I didn't do that. But these were all options that we had at this point, this point.
SPEAKER_00Right. So we're like, okay, well, maybe we can figure this out.
SPEAKER_02Maybe but you inside you were freaking the fuck out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I wanted to jump off the ship and swim back to the shore. To safety.
SPEAKER_02Babe.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So I didn't though. I didn't. You didn't.
SPEAKER_00I stuck, I stuck by you.
SPEAKER_02Thank you. Thanks for sticking by me.
SPEAKER_00No problem, babe.
SPEAKER_02We survived it.
SPEAKER_00We did.
SPEAKER_02Um, so after that, it we went up on the top deck to kind of see the you know the ship off, see some of the JJs, which Bliss has got some new JJs this year.
SPEAKER_00They do, yeah. So a few that we recognize and and know and have been around before. Uh DJ Philly Phil, uh DJ Frisky, uh what's his name? Uh Party Rocker uh Stevie. Steve Yeah, Stevie Stevie B or Steven Steven B. Yeah. So they've done it before, but they had a few a few new new new names and faces. Uh, and one of them was um DJ Tumble. Tumble?
SPEAKER_02Tumbles.
SPEAKER_00Tumbles.
SPEAKER_02T-Um B L E N.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and she's a female DJ, and uh she was a whole vibe.
SPEAKER_02Well, first of all, she's cute as a button. She's like polypocket size, she looks like a cartoon, like a brat stall. That's the best way we can describe her. Um, she is super adorable. She like dresses up in the theme outfit. She's got like space buns, and her thing is bubblegum. Yeah, she like literally chews bubblegum the whole time and blows these like big bubbles. Uh, she was a lot of fun to watch. I genuinely enjoyed her. I've even sent her social media to our team. She's probably way out of our price range. We do not have Bliss Cruise money, but you know, a girl can try. Yeah. But she was hot. If you want to see her, go look her up. I really hope that she continues this partnership with Bliss and comes to the next ones.
SPEAKER_00No, I agree. Yeah, I enjoyed her. Yeah, so on this sail away party, and the reason that I I thought of her is she was wearing like a latex like sailor's outfit.
SPEAKER_02Like a little sailor girl outfit.
SPEAKER_00And she had a hat that was like all bedazzled and like one of those giant, almost like New Orleans style.
SPEAKER_02It's like a captain's type hat, but larger, like those over-exaggerated hat sizes. And you're right, like all the letters and everything was all crystallized, and it said captain on the front. She looked so cute though. Um, I genuinely enjoyed every set that she did that we got to go.
SPEAKER_00Just such good, you know, she was always dancing and smiling, smiling, yeah. Like kind of like you said, blowing bubbles and and be bumping around. She she definitely, you know, I think at some point, if you're gonna be a bigger DJ, there is some like entertainment value there, right? So it's about the mixing and it's about the the song selection and all that, but something that sets some of these other DJs apart is they have just like persona, and it's like they are they're putting on a show uh in a lot of ways, and and she definitely had that, and that's not something you really see from lifestyle DJs very often.
SPEAKER_02And I mean, they're mostly men, you know, and they usually just like have on like random club, you know like nothing like a t-shirt and jail. Yeah, you know, they're not like dressed in like major theme, you know, they're just seeing like whatever's comfortable for them, and it was just really fun to see like a female in theme, like living her best life, like over-exaggerated, everything. I don't know, she was just really fun to watch, and I enjoyed her. Yeah, hope she comes back. So after that Selaway party, we went to um what was called a Facebook social media meet and greet. That is where we met Serenity Cox. If you listen to Tuesday's podcast, you heard us.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so I think I feel like we need to explain that a little bit. So we met Wifey, which is if you don't know, wifey is like uh wifey.com. It's it's a hot wife um adult content platform where they do these like mini documentary series where they meet hot wife couples. Um they kind of they they get to talk about you know how they got in the lifestyle, why they like the hot wife lifestyle, uh, and then they bring in legitimate porn stars to then make a scene with the the hot wife um girl. And so this is this new platform that they've their Vixen Media has launched, and it's called wifey, wifey.com. You can go check it out. So they had come to not even orleans.
SPEAKER_02If you've been around the last of the last year, you've probably heard their name because Oh, they're on everything now, they're on FCC. Sponsoring everything. To be honest, they had reached out to us early on, and we just had no idea really what it was. Right. And then we started going to parties and we started seeing it, and then we were like putting two and two together and try finally figuring it out. And when we went to Naughty in New Orleans, they had their whole team. They were probably rolling 15, 20 days, easy. And they were so kind. I mean, we got to meet Jason Love, who is um their like like number one male talent. I don't know if it's their number one. I'm I don't know, but it's he seems from an outsider looking in like to be a big deal. Um, Serenity Cox was at the time just like another one of their more famous um creators on their platforms. She has since been named the Wifey Ambassador. So she's kind of like the face of the brand ambassador. Yeah, brand, thank you, of Wifey. And so I, you know, we've developed this friendship with the wifey cast at Naughty, and we've kept in touch over the last few months, and they found out that we were going on Bliss, and they asked if we could have a conversation with them. And so we did. And really what the conversation boiled down to is they were a like top sponsor of Bliss Cruise. And we're they were the same at Naughty in New Orleans, but at Naughty, they had, like I said, 15, 20 people there on this Bliss Cruise. They had Serenity Cox and her husband, yeah, and that's it. And so when they heard that we were going to be on the cruise, they were interested in working together in some capacity to help show you know the wifey brand, brand, what it's about, help educate people that are on the ship, kind of spread the word, capture some stuff for social media, help serenity and whatever she may need. And obviously, we were flattered at the opportunity. A little nervous, I was, um, because I'm not a wifey girl. I am just Lacey from the Sweet Nation podcast. And so um, I was a little nervous, but super excited. And they are so professional and they have like a whole team. Like, if we needed help with anything, they would send us like talking points, talking point. I mean, like everything we needed, they were wonderful. And so um I had connected with Serenity probably a few weeks before the cruise. And so we knew that we were once we got on the ship, we were going to, you know, meet back up and kind of plan out our week and and try to, you know, cross paths as much as possible. So she was going to this influencer, not influencer, excuse me. She was going to this Facebook social media meet and greet, which I was a little confused if that was like a meet and greet for people that had met other individuals from Facebook or from social media, or if this was like a social media influencers meet and greet. I didn't know. I still don't know. I I don't think it really mattered. We came, she opened all of her swag, she was passing out swag. We got to chat with them, got to chat with some other people. Yeah, it was fun.
SPEAKER_00Super nice. Super Serenity and her husband are amazing people. Uh they're Canadian, so I think by default, they're like super kind. I don't I've never met a mean Canadian. I don't know if that's something that exists or not. Uh, but they were super cool. It was great. One of the highlights of our cruise, I think, was getting to spend some time with Canada.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, for sure. Um, so at that point, we were kind of playing, it was like five, six o'clock. We're like planning our evening. So we did invite her and her husband to have dinner with us, which I think we had a late, we tend to do late dinners on the cruise, like eight o'clock. Um, so yeah, so we decided dinner time and then we went on our way.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And so after that, Bliss is doing a new thing this year. It's called the Bliss Loyalty Loyalty Club. So depending on, and I actually did some research because I was curious. For every night you've stayed on a Bliss cruise, you get a point. So it's not like I've been on six Bliss Cruises, I've been on seven. Like if you've been on the longer cruises, you get more points. Yes, because we were silver. Um, and I was curious how like how that, because I think it's like bronze, silver, gold, platinum, platinum. Right. Yeah. So um anyway, they had a loyalty meet and greet kind of reception. They gave out free alcohol, they gave out free swag for people, like depending on what level you hit within that. They made name necklaces for everyone. It was a great opportunity. We got to meet the tech guy who designed the Bliss app, which honestly, it's fucking amazing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, like that app compared to so many others that are out there right now. I'm sorry guys, but it's kind of kicking their ass.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's it's good. I mean, I think I think it still needs a little work, but it's it's doing what really.
SPEAKER_02I think it's really good. Um, but I'm not I'm also not a techie person, so maybe that's why.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, but yeah, so we got to meet the CEO. I mean, we've known we've met him before his wife was there. Got to meet Dawn, who does all if you see a lot of Lys's social media, she does Dawn on Deck.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02A lot of good people, a lot of fun, familiar faces.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, and I don't think people realize that a lot of lifestyle businesses, they're almost it's you know, it's gonna sound crazy, but it they're almost family businesses, you know what I mean? Like the it's it's people that are been in the lifestyle that have been in the community, that people that are that care about the community. Uh, and and I definitely think um the new team at Bliss uh falls into that where they're they're people that are genuinely and really care about this community uh and and want to make it better. So I appreciate that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So after that, we went back to our room and it was really time to get ready. Um, the cool thing about Bliss is they realize that we are content creators and there's a handful of us. And you know, it'd been it's like a mutually beneficial relationship. We want to post about them. They want us to post about them. And so what's really cool is prior to sailing, I was able to get a schedule. So I knew exactly what time and where we could go into each playroom, each behind the scenes. And so that really helped us be able to figure out our week so that way we are able to bring you the videos like you see on our social media of like the playrooms and stuff, but also be respectful of other people. Yeah, because there's been uh there's been some chatter about phones and video usage on this bliss cruise. Understandably, I think is it worth is it worth mentioning?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, wait I well, I don't even know if I know enough about it to to talk intelligently, but I can I can alert- I I know a good bit because I've been trying to read up.
SPEAKER_02I've been reading all the you know, I like to spy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I like to read all the Reddit articles.
SPEAKER_00So, first of all, we'll start with us. So, you know, we make TikTok, social media, Instagram, we take pictures. We are super careful in every event that we do that when we make content, we find backdrops, backgrounds, we go into things like playrooms and play spaces before they're open to do the tour videos and things like that. So we have four years of social media. You can go back and look at all our posts, all our social media. I promise you, if you see somebody's face in one of those pictures, it's somebody we probably have a model release for.
SPEAKER_02No, I would say nine times out of ten, we have a model release for that person. And at the very least, there is a small percentage of people that have maybe given us a verbal or sent a text and you know, written. Um, and I think people because you and I had this conversation getting off the boat and chatting last we were driving home. If you scroll through some of our footage, like from secrets, and you see there are random people, but those are random friends. Those are random friends that we have gone to and said, Hey, our photographer caught this picture and it is amazing a picture. You happen to be in the background. Are you comfortable with us sharing this photo? Would you prefer to be blurred out? How would you like us handle that? We do that for every single post. And we have a team of people. So not only us, but like Swinger Society and now Electric Pleasures. I mean, we're we are not in the business of outing anyone. Um, so now fast forward to Bliss. Bliss has a whole production team.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_02They are very easily identifiable. They have vests on that says, you know, Bliss Cruise production. Yeah, like it you can't.
SPEAKER_00And they're there, you know, we're going around at our events, we're going around with iPhones and capturing a lot of our.
SPEAKER_02Well, we have we have some that are professional, but yes.
SPEAKER_00They had like, you know, real DLSR cameras and you know, real pro video, you know, photography type people.
SPEAKER_02And they also have model releases. So for example, the first day I was there, I saw you know, I was saw them. They said, Hey Lacey, can we get you and Dan to sign a model release? Because we know we're gonna get you in some pictures this week and we want to be able to use them. We want to make sure that it's okay. Absolutely. Signed it, no problem. Um, the the problem is that right now on a lot of social media, a lot of people are raising hell for lack of a better word, because they don't feel like the production crew was explained.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like they just all of a sudden saw them.
SPEAKER_00It's that, and I think when you buy your tickets, when you purchase tickets for Bliss Crews, there is a blurb in there that says, you know, by purchasing these tickets, you you understand that you could be caught on production, you know, like Yeah.
SPEAKER_02My understanding though is if that if you are 100% against that, you can go to guest services and there is a form that you can fill out that that overrides that they can also give you a bracelet, is from my understanding. That means that if a production crew sees you with the bracelet, you are a no-go. And from what we were told is when the production crew is filming, for example, one night they were doing BDSM, and Dawn, who does Dawn on Deck, was tied up and was hanging upside down, and they are filming her. She will be in the video, but everybody that it was around her, because people are circling around her, they're all um will be blurry. Blurry all you will see is her, but you will see that there are people that she's in the middle of like a you know thing. But anyway, there's a lot of people that I don't think they understand that they don't understand that. Like Liz would probably lose all of their customers if they started outing people. I don't, I mean, and knowing them, there's just no way they're gonna do that.
SPEAKER_00So, my understanding is if if you had the bracelet, if you went and you said, Hey, I don't want to be in anything, and you went and got the bracelet, you're not even gonna be a bur blurred out person in the background. Like they will move you from the background to make sure you're not even caught there. Yeah, or not, if you if you get caught do that and you're in the background, they'll leave you there, but they're gonna blur you. Yeah, right. And then if you signed a model release, you can be shown full face, full body. Correct. That is my understanding. Um, it's the way it was explained to me. If for some reason it happens, if that's not 100% true, I don't know. But I think that's my understanding.
SPEAKER_02But the truth is, is even though this is the lifestyle, this is still a business. They still have to market, they still have to get people to want to book. And listen, I know a lot of the people in the lifestyle are older, but there is a whole nother generation of people that want to join the lifestyle that find out about things from social media. Yeah, I get why we are having this conversation, but I just I think it's important to talk about it. We totally went off a tangent. Now we're probably gonna go over on our time. So I'm sorry, but I think it was worth chatting. Um, the reason I talked about it is because it's got a lot of attention. Yeah, it has got attention. We people saw this. We I've even had people say, I got to watch you make a TikTok and it was so much fun. Our our room, we sat on the seventh floor, like two doors down from our room, was a hideaway. It was like a little nook where there was chairs and stuff. We would go there the nights that we didn't have access to the playrooms and solariums, of that, we would go there and take pictures and make TikToks, but we were very careful that no one was in the background.
SPEAKER_00Not even like in the elevator in the background.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you that's a lie. There is one picture because I went and double-checked all of our social media after I blurted them. Did you blur them? Okay, because you could you wouldn't see them, but you there's no way you could tell right if it was even a man or a woman. Um, but they were very high up in the corner. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, so I don't even know his face was probably cut off, but even his body is blurred. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But we are very careful. So for this night, the theme was uh studs and bunnies. Yeah, so like a play on Playboy Bunny. And we got ready and we went and made all of our TikToks in the solarium prior to going to dinner. So we were completely private. We didn't have to worry about there's nobody in there but there's nobody in there, Bella and Jace. Yeah, Bella and Jace from Foreplay. We always run into each other because they have the same schedule that we do, so it was fun. So yeah, so um you wore a half a Hugh Hefner's smoking jacket. I wore a leopard print bunny costume, like a Playboy bunny costume. I didn't see anybody else with that outfit on, which highlight for me.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you look cute.
SPEAKER_02I loved it. I love the way it took pictures. Wearing it was a nightmare. My it would not stay up in the front. My titties kept falling out. I was a bummer. Which is fine. It just if that was how it was made. I felt like I was messing with it. You know, like when you wear something and it's like a little uncomfortable and you miss, like I had Pacies on, it wasn't the end of the world. I just felt a little uncomfortable. Yeah. So I ended up after dinner going and changing and just putting a black romper on. I left my bunny ears on, I left my bow tie, I left all of that. I just knew being comfortable was more important than how I looked. And honestly, nobody gives a shit. You're on a cruise in the middle of the Caribbean, nobody cares if you have the theme outfit or not.
SPEAKER_00Agreed.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay, and then after dinner, uh uh we went to um We started with the Sky Lounge. Right. So, okay. On this ship, there were multiple dance areas, and I actually think Bliss Cruise did a good job of this. Um, so on other ships they had the uh ice skating rink that was kind of the big dance area, and that's mostly where the dance parties were on previous iterations of Bliss Cruise. Um, this cruise there was no um ice skating rink. So yeah, unfortunate thing is you didn't have a nice big area for everybody to dance in.
SPEAKER_02Uh which is good, but also bad, you know, because like not everybody wants to hear the same music. Like, for instance, on this cruise, they had a country DJ, they had a lot of ED more EDM music, they had top 40s, and so it it is a little easier when when you can spread everybody out.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I will say from previous cruises, you know, we like EDM, and I think they played more EDM on like the last cruise, but then they were getting complaints about EDM. So I anyway, I think the answer is to do multiple parties spread out across the ship, which is what Bliss Cruise tried to do this time. So, really the sky lounge ended up being kind of the top 40 or like the theme night party. You know, they play if it was a disco night, they play a little disco music. If it was whatever the theme, a country night, they play a little country music, but that was the like the top 40 area. And then on the back of the ship, there was something called the sky bar. Uh, and that ended up typically being the EDM area, but there was also one or two dance areas that they had put in like the uh the open it was like the middle of the ship. Yeah, what would be the promenade, but there wasn't a promenade on the ship. But the open areas in the middle of the ship, they I think they made one or even two more dance. I think there's two more dance areas. And you know, sometimes it would be EDM there, sometimes it would be other other music. Um, but for this night, uh, we started at the Sky Lounge where it was like top 40. It was extremely hot. It's a low ceiling, almost like you said, like a speakeasy type uh bar type feeling in that area. Yeah, and because it was really the only thing open at first, I think just about everybody went there, and it was pretty hot in there. The music was good music, but not really our type of music. So at 11 on the back of the ship, they had on the schedule the EDM party. So we moved from the Sky Lounge to the back of the ship for the EDM party, and this is where things get a little hairy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So we like we love everything that Bliss does. We are huge Bliss supporters. We love the new owners, we love the old owners, we think that they do very well for, you know, in this scene. Um and I think they're really in the process of making some pretty huge changes. And with those changes comes growing pains. And I think for this first night, we really saw those growing pains. And I'd like to say that it got better throughout the week. And really, while this was all happening this first night, I kind of felt like this was first night. Jitters. Jitters. I mean, because let's be honest, they turn a vanilla ship into a swingers party within like two or three hours of people getting off the ship.
SPEAKER_00So there's not a lot of like Yeah, the logistics, I think it is important for people to understand the logistics. So that cruise docks as the vanilla normal cruise. And then within hours, 3,000 swingers get on it, and they essentially had to make one, two, three, like five dance club areas that are not normally in those areas on a ship, outfitted with lighting and trussing and flavoring things. And then they made a dungeon, a giant solarium playroom, and two or three other little playrooms. So they they convert that whole ship in a matter of hours. So that is a lot of moving pieces, that's a lot of moving parts, that's a lot of things that then could create issues and problems.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so we give them grace. Like we we throw very tiny baby parties compared to this situation. I can't even imagine. I can't, I can't even imagine. So when we get to the party, it was very apparent that it was not really set up well. The DJ wasn't which was DJ Frisky, was there. He had his like DJ, his computer open. He looked, he he appeared to be kind of ready. I even walked up to him and was like, hey, and he was, I was like, How are you doing? He's like, I'm working off those first night jitters. And he was really, really excited because he had DJ'd for Tophless Travel um from some of their parties, but had never been like a headlining DJ on Bliss Cruise. And this was his first opportunity. So this was his first set as um a DJ. And so he was pretty nervous going into it, and it ended up being kind of a shit show. Um for lack of a better word.
SPEAKER_00Um so the speakers weren't working, they sometimes worked. The lighting was wasn't set up, so basically the production crew was running around trying to troubleshoot all the issues they were.
SPEAKER_02They were running through the crowd. So like we're dancing, we're hanging out, and they're like bobbing and weaving through the crowd. And it's not a big area.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, it took them 30 or 45 minutes. So the the party was supposed to start at 11. I don't think the music started till 11:30, 1145. And then once the music started, it kept like speakers kept cutting out, speakers were crackling, you know. I think it took them a while to get the lighting going. I don't know, it just was kind of disorganized and Russell, the CEO, ended up coming out there.
SPEAKER_02And I I feel and this might be like uh what's the word I'm looking for? I feel like he comes to us and asks what we think about things. Like a check-in, yeah. Yeah, like a check-in. Like, not that I think our opinion really fucking matters because we're just two people that happen to have like it's just people he recognizes that are. But he's like, because he'll ask me, he like a couple times he was like throughout the week. He said he came up to me and he said, This night, he's like, We're having trouble with the speaker. I'm like, it's okay. It's so it's the first night. It is okay. You know, we're we're here with where we're with our friends. I'm on the back of a ship, my hair's blowing in the wind. I've got a fruity cocktail, like I'm good. So, like, all this to say, we still had a blast. We still had a really good time. We just personally felt bad for the production crew running back and forth. We felt bad for DJ Frisky because it was very obvious that this was important, and it was obvious that he was trying really hard not to get frustrated. Yeah, um, also, we probably know more than your average person, like because you DJ some and because we know about speakers. We do our own production, yeah. We understand what's going on. So maybe we took on some of that anxiety because we're I have anxiety. I don't know if you could tell, but I had you needed to be removed from the scene. Like, I was like, it's gonna be okay. I was stressing, yeah. Um, so I mean we ended up staying pretty much until it's hard for me not to like want to hop in and help, you know. Yeah, you are a fixer. That is you are. Um, so we stayed until probably midnight. When I mean it like I said, the speakers would go in and out and in and out.
SPEAKER_00The the party got vibing for a while, and you know, DJ Frisky was killing it with the music. They had actually had a drummer come out who had LED drums and this LED helmet thing on, and he was walking through the crowd while he was drumming to the music. So, like the concept of that EDM party on that part of the ship is a badass concept. And you could see moments of like, oh, this is fucking cool. But the problem is as soon as you'd get like a moment of oh, this is fucking cool, then a speaker would cut out or something would crackle, or like so it just it never, at least not on this first night, and I don't know if it really ever came together the way they wanted it to.
SPEAKER_02No, I don't think it ever came together exactly how they wanted it to, but things were definitely better. Yeah, I feel like it was kind of a roller coaster, things would get better, and then they would not be so, you know. So I think there was times where things were really good and then times where they failed again. But again, in order to make things better, you have to change, you have to evolve. And I am okay with a little growing pains, knowing that Bliss is like they they're probably taking our surveys, they're listening to what we're doing, they're applying them, and I very much appreciate that. So this is like in in no way, hate or we're not here to like criticize them or anything like that. We're just we would be lying if we said it this was like a badass party and nothing went wrong. Yeah, that would that's just the truth, and I think it's important to be authentic in this case.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, so we hung around that party till I don't know, midnight, midnight thirty or so, and then we went to the solarium.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, everyone kind of like split off. I think a lot of people were tired.
SPEAKER_00Some people had traveled in on that day. It's pretty typical for the first day, everybody kind of to connect with their partner prior to like connecting with everybody else.
SPEAKER_02Which we had done that the night before, but I'm always down for like you know, an extra night of that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Well, I think even you said uh let's just me and you tonight, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, so we went to the playroom, the solarium, we opened the sheets. We ended up running into Maegor George, who was on our podcast a couple a couple years ago. If you remember, he was the Hot Wife Hunter. Yeah. And um, he has a play partner that he travels with now who is about as adorable as they come.
SPEAKER_00I enjoy her.
SPEAKER_02She is really cute. So uh we opened the sheet. Sheet. Yeah, and then everybody, like, well, not everybody, it's just four of us. We were talking back and forth. You know, they were having sex, we were having sex.
SPEAKER_00Um, is somebody gonna make a move? Yeah, and are we gonna all fuck? But it it didn't end up happening, but it was still pretty hot.
SPEAKER_02It was, yeah, it was fun. Um, we it and then we just kind of sat there and chatted for a few minutes, and then we got up, got dressed, and headed back to our room and called it a nine.
SPEAKER_00And that was night one on the Bliss Cruise. Yeah. Only what, six more nights, seven more days to go. Yeah. So stay tuned. I think that's all the time we have for this episode.
SPEAKER_02But talking about the cameras and the production, I think those were like important, like little tangents, and then obviously my medicine.
SPEAKER_00Those were tangents that I think we're some of those will weave their way through the rest of the week.
SPEAKER_02So hopefully it'll go a little quicker. So y'all bear with us. I y'all probably like just get on with it. We y'all just want to hear about us fucking, right?
SPEAKER_00Exactly.
SPEAKER_02They want to hear about airtight, they do, yeah. And double blow jobs, and under the stars, yeah, and squirting on balconies.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02We did all those things.
SPEAKER_00So stay tuned.
SPEAKER_02So if you want to hear about them, you gotta come back.
SPEAKER_00So hit that like, follow, subscribe. We'll see you next week for the rest. Well, for more of the Bliss Cruise.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00All right. I think with that, in a world full of apples, be the pineapple. Be the pineapple, guys. Bye. Bye.
