Yes. We recently did this for Secrets, and uh I think a lot of people like this. And I think we've actually done this for Naughty probably in the past. But we have a lot of new people that go to Naughty in New Orleans every year. Um, and so I think this is it's time for another one. Or if you're not booked for Naughty and you are listening to this, now is the time to get ready to book for 2027 because 2026 sold out by like March, the first of March. So um and they usually release the next one within a short time after this, you know, the current one. So I would think you know, towards the end of July, first of August, you probably need to go ahead and get ready to book this. So I think if you've if you've never gone and you listen to this, this is the time to start thinking about it, start planning it. Um, so you can be ready. So you can book it because you want to you want to stay in that. They do a couple of hotels, and we're gonna talk about all this, but you want to stay in that main hotel. So if you if you hear this podcast and you're like, I want to do that, just mentally make a note so you can be prepared.

Really, the best time to book Naughty in New Orleans is immediately following Naughty New Orleans.

Because they usually they have like a discount, like you know, they give you like a hundred bucks off or something, and you book it right away, you'll get in the main hotel. Like that is the time to book it. Yeah. Now, if you're one of those people that wait till the last minute, we have so many friends like that. Uh you know, there's still ways. Actually, I was just talking to Tess. So last week's episode was Splash, and uh Tess from Naughty New Orleans, one of the owners, was there, and she said they had 10 rooms open up uh from cancellations here in the last month or so. Uh, so definitely get on that wait list if you're interested, and we'll try to if if we can get you in, we will. Uh, but otherwise, as soon as Naughty's over and the next year goes on sale, I would book early. Uh, and you'll see that on swingersciety.net. As soon as it comes up, we'll have it on the website and you can book through us. Uh, the good thing about booking through us is you'll have access to us. We'll give you the little the rundown, the tour. Uh, we'll see you throughout the party. Naughty Norris kind of crazy. I mean, we we might see you, we might not, but we we try to uh arrange that as best we can. Yeah. Uh okay. Are you ready to get into it? Okay, so I think where we start here on my notes, I have explain what naughty in New Orleans really is. Okay. Uh, and I think we need to do that because I think even us, the first time we went to Naughty, we had some confusion about exactly what naughty is.

A lot of people have the impression, you know, it's it's a takeover of Bourbon Street and the and the main hotel, which is the Crown Astor. And that's public information. We're not putting out anything that's not.

Yeah, I mean, the truth is it is a hotel takeover in New Orleans, but it's so much more than that. But if you want a simplified version, that's what naughty in New Orleans is. It is a hotel takeover, but there's lots more. Lots more to that.

And I think that's kind of where it gets confusing, right? Because people say, oh, it's naughty New Orleans, you know, it's swingers taking over uh, you know, Bourbon Street in New Orleans. And so a lot of people, and I think we were some of those people, have this impression that all you gotta do is show up in New Orleans this week. Yeah, and you can be part of naughty New Orleans.

That is not true.

Correct. And we've had a lot of people like not realize that, and they'll book like an Airbnb, and then they'll try to get door pass. And it's it's it's don't do that. Don't do that. I mean, I understand. Listen, the thought of like all of our friends getting an Airbnb in New Orleans and then just walking over to the party every night, that does sound like a lot of fun. But the truth is, is it's not that easy. Sometimes they don't even sell door passes. So it just really depends on how busy and how big the party gets. So um the truth is, is that let's talk about, I don't know, what do you want to talk about?

All right, let's let's let's let's break it down a little bit, right?

Okay.

So it is a hotel takeover. The main hotel is the Crown Aster, right? They then, once that sells out, start taking over other hotels. The most I think we've seen is three. Yeah. I heard some rumors there might be some spillover into a fourth hotel this year. Yeah. Right. So that's three full hotels that are taking over, possibly spilling into a fourth. All right. So, like a normal hotel takeover, they take over the ballrooms. There's actually two main ballrooms in the Aster. Usually the one is an EDM room and one is like a top 40 uh DJ. And then one or two nights a week, they actually have a live band in the top 40 room as well. Um, there has been times where in the second hotel they do other live music or other music. Uh last year, they in the second hotel, they did the main dungeon in that space. And I think that's my understanding is that is also the plan for this year. Now, I will tell you, it changes every single year, right? So, what it was last year, it will not be this year, it will not be next year. The the concept all stays the same, but they'll do different things. They might try putting DJs or entertainment here, they might try putting the dungeon there. Uh, you know, they might they take over different bars on Bourbon Street every year. It's not the same, right? So, but at night, it's a hotel takeover. You have at least two ballrooms of music, and you have an entire floor of playrooms. And when I say an entire floor, I think it's over 3,000 square feet of play space, right? One of the largest playrooms outside of maybe Bliss Cruise that you'll ever experience uh is at Naughty New Orleans. Uh, we refer to it as the closest thing to a national convention for swingers, right? It is the largest hotel takeover in the country, and people from industry all over the country come to this event. So you'll see other hotel takeover groups come to this event. Splash will be there. We'll be there with Swinger Society and Electric Pleasures.

Uh Secrets have Secrets usually come. iOS Connections, iOS Connections, Play Champagne, I mean Cassidy, SLS, SDC. Literally, everything that we know of the lifestyle is basically. Not he shows up at Naughty North. Naughty does a very good job of just like bringing people together. So it's not just Naughty that is doing this. We're all working together to create this ultimate party experience.

Right. Uh, and like a convention, uh, they have some convention space. So you'll see booths set up, right? So we'll have our podcast booths. You'll see like secrets. We'll set up a booth, different vendors. You usually they'll be selling t-shirts and things throughout the the uh hotel space. Uh, they have classes. So if you've in name a class that you can think of, they have it. They got consent classes, they have classes on how to tie rope, they have classes on how to give blowjobs. I mean, they have classes. Again, it changes every year. What they had last year will probably be different. Um if you have an interest, you go do it. They have a whole app, kind of like Bliss Cruise. They have an app now for Naughty New Orleans where it lays all this stuff out into a schedule and you kind of pick and choose. Now, unlike a normal convention or unlike a normal hotel takeover, what they do during the day is really what makes Naughty New Orleans as special, is they take over bars on Bourbon Street. And when I say takeover, they shut the doors to the public and you cannot get into that bar unless you have a Naughty in New Orleans badge. Right. So this idea of we're just gonna show up in New Orleans and participate in Naughty and New Orleans, you cannot do that because you have to have a badge to get in.

They take the badges very seriously. So, like you can't walk through the hotel without the badge, you can't walk into a bar that is designed for this without the badge. Like it's it's it's pretty locked down. So could you go to the bar next door? Yeah. With could there be swingers there? Maybe. But there they could also not be swingers there. So I just think that's important to notate. Yeah.

Yeah. Now these bar takeovers, they usually close the windows. Sometimes some of the bars put up blackout curtains. Uh, and I can't tell you exactly what happens in those bars, but it is a swinger takeover of the bar, right? There's no, there's no sex, there's no playrooms or none of that. But swingers get a little wild. Yeah. Right. And so it's it's amped up. You know, Bourbon Street is wild any night. And on a Friday night or a Saturday night, uh, Bourbon Street's pretty wild. Imagine that and put a bunch of swingers in there and times 10. Yeah. Right? That's what all these takeovers are. And the takeovers on Bourbon Street are all put on by the various club owners and hotel takeovers. So we throw a party, Secrets throws a party, Splash throws a party.

There's a bunch of clubs that come in. So I I know like uh TNG from Houston comes in. I know uh so there's a bunch of club owners that do their own parties and stuff. So you're basically bar hopping from closed bar to closed bar, and there's like little mini takeovers happening. And you know, they're giving away prizes, they're playing silly games, they're doing all these things. Uh, and it's just a really good time, right? So you do that all day long, you come back at night, take a friggin' nap, and then you're partying all night long in the hotel.

Uh, and and that that is uh naughty New Orleans. They have pool parties. Uh so in some of the hotels, they have rooftop pools and things like that. There'll be uh pool parties during the day. They're usually topless pool parties, uh, and just a lot going on. The dungeons at night give classes, they give demonstrations. I mean, if you were gonna think of all the fun things swingers could do and it happening in one place at one time, that is naughty in New Orleans. Agreed. Like Lacey said, do you can't book an Airbnb and then book a day pass? So what they do is they take over the Aster and then they take over, you know, a second hotel, a third hotel. Well, at some point in time, they reach fire code for the Aster, which is the main hotel, right? And once they reach that fire code max, they can't, even if they wanted to sell more passes, they aren't legally allowed to, right? They can't exceed that fire code maximum for that hotel. And we can cut off passes.

And you don't really, you don't really want them to either, because if they if they sell too many, then there's no room to dance, there's no room to play and stuff like that. So they they have to kind of like balance this line of what is enough people, but not too many. So some some years they sell day passes and some years they don't.

And if if the last couple of years are any indication, and I think it's just been growing the last, you know, since COVID really, I would I don't if they do day passes, it's gonna be very, very minimal.

As of right now, I've not heard of any day passes for 2026. I I do know that they have like what they're calling like a kinky pass. So basically you just go to the dungeon space. You can go to the NOPS here or the dungeon space. Um I don't know if that includes the bars on Bourbon Street. I don't know. So definitely look into that. But as of right now, that's the only thing that's available.

And other than like so that's why you need to book early to make sure you get into the main hotel or at least get a pass so that you can go to all the things. Yeah. Because you're right, later on, sometimes they do sell these like limited passes, but it usually can only get you into the overflow hotels, and that's not where the party is. Uh so it's not it's not what you want. It's not what you want for the full naughty New Orleans experience. Uh okay. So that's a pretty safe rundown of that is what naughty is.

Uh, I think maybe, yeah, let's let's talk a little bit about the price.

How to in and how to book.

So um obviously you can go to naughty events.com and book with them. Uh, if you're hearing our voices and getting this from us, please go to swingerside.net and book with us. That helps cover us to be able to go and and and us to be able to throw parties and and do what we do. So we would greatly appreciate it if you use our link. Um, the way it works to book is you book the basically like the convention price. So it's I think I looked it up, it's $895. And that basically covers the parties. I guess you could say. That does not encover your room, but that gives you that gets you in the door. So once you after you book that, and you can do it, they usually have payment plans if it's far enough advanced, and that's what you want. You can use that option. Um, once you do that, um, when the rooms become available. So, like for instance, if you are booking this in August, I don't think the rooms become available until like September. Um, but you'll get an email that says, hey, the rooms are available. Please use this link to book your room. Um, and and when that happens, that's when you go in and book your actual hotel room. That $895 does not include your your stay. So we looked up the prices and last year we paid, it was like right around $200 for our room. And I think we had like a pretty $200 per night. Yeah, per night.

And then there are city taxes that are pretty expensive. So it, I mean, it with all the taxes and stuff, it comes to almost $250.

Yeah. So, you know, and it depends on how long you want to stay. So the actual party slash convention is Wednesday through Sunday. So if you want to come in a day early, obviously be more money. If you want to stay a day late, that that is the case as well. So you have to determine. And then obviously, if you want like a suite or something like that, more money. So, um, and that's for the Aster crown. Now, once the Aster sells out, they're gonna make an announcement. Hey, Aster is sold out. If you book now, you're gonna need to stay at the Nopsey or whatever other hotel they've chosen. It's not always the same. Aster typically is the same, everything else kind of changes.

It's usually the second hotel. Yeah, yeah.

So, so depending on when you book or when you're listening to this, will be what hotel you get. So, you know, if you're we're doing the math, that's a roughly $1,500-ish, depending on how long you stay, what room type you get.

I think $1,500 to two grand is probably like a normal price. Uh, you start talking about suites or upgrades or something like that. You I mean, you could probably spend five grand if you wanted to.

Like for a day, Dan and I come in a day early because we drive and parking, you know, you valet park there. It's $20, I think it's like $20 a day. It might be more now. Hell, I don't know.

Well, my truck, I think, is extra because it's yeah, yeah.

So we've drive and trying to park and get all of that. We so we just get there a day early so that way that it's less chaotic. So, you know, you can keep stuff like that in mind. We also a lot of times we'll stay an extra night because come Sunday, we are dead and we just need to sleep for 24 hours. So, you know, when you start adding extra stuff like that in, that's when the price goes up.

Agreed. Agreed. Yeah. So, you know, expect to spend north of $1,500 and up to two grand. It's pretty, that's a pretty normal price. Again, if you book early, sometimes they have like $100 off packages. Uh, you can get some discounts. I think the ear the earlier you're booked, the cheapest it is.

And then the $895 can be done on a payment plan. The hotel, I think they charge your card for your hotel like a month in advance. They don't charge it when you book it.

No, they don't. Okay. Any other questions about uh any other thing about that that you think's worth mentioning?

Um price, if we're just gonna talk about money really quick, most everything is included in Audi. There are some things that you have to pay for, some classes you have to pay for, like like some, like they're doing boudoir photos, you would pay for those.

Um, they do like a few paid classes to kind of like bless cruise, right?

Yeah, they have like if you want to get your body painted for a you know, like a theme night, that is uh extra. So just like with any lifestyle vacation, a lot of it does come with it, but there are some upgrades if you choose to go that route. But but basically the 895 covers all the night parties, all the day parties, all of the like the meat and potatoes of the party, the whole thing.

Yeah, um, it is not a BYOB event. No, so you have to buy alcohol. Uh, you buy alcohol tickets or whatever, and then you get the alcohol in the, you know, from the from them. Uh, and they're very serious about not taking your cups and things. So, you know, you you will not be able to bring alcohol into the party spaces. So uh you have to plan accordingly for that. And then um food, right? So you're you're downtown New Orleans. Um, there's tons of amazing food, but you're gonna have to budget for for food.

There's also cheaper options, like if you want to grab a sauce of pizza, there's a crystal, there's there's uh cheaper options if you're more budget conscious. But yeah, food is definitely um and not all the rooms have refrigerators. It's an older hotel, so it's about half and half. I think that's so you know, if if having a cold drink or something, you might want to have to bring a cooler or buy a cooler while you're there.

If you bring in Tri-Mex, uh, and that stays has to stay refrigerated. Think about how you're gonna keep that cool, have a plan for that. Uh, we we carry a plug in free uh plug-in um cooler nowadays um for all that uh kind of stuff. So we know we are we're gonna have a place to keep our drinks cool and and all and medications. Um all right. Is it any other questions about that?

I think that's pretty that pretty much covers the financial portion of it.

Okay. First timer expectations. So if somebody's coming to Naughty for the first time, what kind of expectations do you think they should set before coming?

SPEAKER_00 18:35

Well, first of all, it's very high-paced. Um, it's it can be the there's thousands of swingers that take over.

SPEAKER_01 18:43

So this is probably the largest land-based swingers party every year. Bliss Cruise is probably the biggest sea-based um party. This is the biggest land-based party. Uh, and it's a lot. And basically, if you're doing anything like this, if you're going to Secrets, if you're going to Hito, if you're going on a Bliss Cruise, if you're going to Nadia, New Orleans, pacing yourself is going to save you. Yeah. I think a lot of couples go to are just used to going to a swingers club on a Saturday night and just throwing down balls to the wall. And they think they can do that every single night at one of these types of events. And what you're going to very quickly realize is a Saturday night at a swingers club five nights in a row is about impossible.

Yeah. And and naughty, you know, your your day. I mean, well, it depends on what you do. But, you know, like if you're like a parent you're partying all day on Bourbon Street, and then to then go in and party on that, it can take its toll on you. It can be a lot. And so I think like knowing that going in and like obviously like pacing yourself, you know, like maybe take a class ever so often instead of, you know, or maybe go to one bourbon street party and then come back and take a class so you can sober up and then go back out for the night, you know, parties, you know, or you might not be a partier at all and you might just want to do the classes, and maybe you have to make yourself go to the party so you'll talk to people, you know. So, like figuring out whatever your dynamic is and like kind of working with it and also making sure that you're like taking care of yourself, like you're eating, you're napping, you're um you're doing all the things so that way you're your best version of yourself. Because if you're like fucked up and like can barely stand, that's that's not fun for you or anyone else.

No, a hundred percent. Uh, I think, you know, looking at your the calendar for the week, so to so to speak, and planning in times to eat, times to nap, times to, you know, hey, this is when I'm gonna shower and get ready for the club night, and kind of setting a good paced schedule uh will will help you out a lot.

Yeah, and like a pro tip is a lot of the restaurants, especially as you get into the weekend, are gonna be slammed packed, you know, because they're very busy. So a pro tip is to make reservations. And you don't have to just make reservations for two people. You can make reservations for like four or six and then find friends and be like, hey guys, we made reservations at this restaurant at six. It kind of like makes you stop. And it's so much easier to plan, oh, we got to eat at six than at 5:30, trying to figure out where we're gonna eat and wait and stuff like that. So that would be a pro tip is to try to pre-plan your dinners and figure out like if you know there's like four restaurants you really want to go, just pick one each night and make reservations and then make friends, you know? Or you could just if you haven't made friends, when you're walking in and somebody's standing there waiting and they've been waiting for 30 minutes to get a table, be like, Hey, would you like to join us? Because you'll you'll be able to tell who's swingers and who's not as you're walking around. Everybody has lanyards on, we all have our swinger shirts on and stuff. So it's it could be also like a fun way to meet people too. Like, hey, I got reservations.

Yeah, that's definitely a good pro tip. Because I I don't know how many times it's you know, we party in the bars until it's like, you know, four o'clock too late. And then we're like, man, we really need to go get something to eat before the party. And then you like walk around and every place is slammed and It's an hour wait here, a two-hour wait there, and then you're like crap, and then we end up going to Crystals.

Which what we do, if you want just like we Door Dash, which sucks because we actually really love to eat in New Orleans and hang out with our friends. But we just go in our room and like lay horizontal for an hour or two. Decompress, and that kind of recharges our battery, and then we eat. And I try to find the like fun places so we're not eating the same things, but that's what we do. So, but basically what I say all that to say is you as a someone that's never been, you're going to have to kind of take care of yourself. You're gonna have to like realize I'm overwhelmed, there's too much going on, I'm tired, or maybe like if you go real hard at night, maybe okay, we're gonna let's sleep in tomorrow. We'll start our day at like noon, you know. I think it and I think that's okay. I think a lot of everybody there is probably experiencing the same thing. And just because it's your first naughty does not, you know, we all do that.

So yeah, definitely drink water, take naps, pace yourself.

It's very hot in New Orleans in July. It is, um, so you know, it's it can be it can be a lot.

So it rains.

So when it rains, go in and take a nap. You know, like use the things that happen to to kind of help facilitate your day. And if it's if you're overwhelmed or something's going on too much, just go and and and hang out.

Yeah. I will say some people say, like, oh, I can't go to Naughty New Orleans, you know, I can't go to New Orleans and that time of year is too hot. I I don't, I mean, yes, it is hot. It's hot, but it's not too hot. No, it's not too hot.

I mean, honestly, most everything is indoors, truthfully. So I mean, you honestly, if you if you don't want to go outside during the day, you don't have to. You don't even have to go to the Bourbon Street parties. If you want to take classes in the Aster and then go to the, you don't even have to leave if you don't want to. Is it warm? Yes, but it's not anything like Yeah.

And most of the parties are like a five-minute walk from the Aster. So it's not like you're walking hundreds, you know, miles across the town or anything like that. It's most of them are pretty short, easy walk. You're outside for 10, 15 minutes, and then you're back in the AC. Uh, and even I will say, Bourbon Street, even with um, you know, hundreds and thousands of people stuffed into these little bars, their air conditioning stuff usually, you know, you're gonna get hot if you're dancing and partying and all that stuff anyway. But it's not like, oh my gosh, you know, hot. Yeah, no, it's the hottest we ever got was walking to go get the dang uh beignets beignets. That is a little bit of a walk, yeah. Yeah, uh, and that that one was hot.

Uh, for example, um, what I usually you wear is a pair of like denim shorts or like um, or you can even do like some of the cotton stretchy shorts. Honestly, the cotton stretchy are probably more comfortable, but the denim is hotter, like sexy-wise.

You're gonna shower in the morning, you're gonna shower after you go to the Burbentry, and you're gonna probably shower before you go to bed. So you're there's a lot of showering.

We have all of our pineapple stuff on, we are celebrating that we are swingers and that we are proud. And the theme is pineapple. So I usually come up with something crazy pineapple for us to wear.

Yeah. No, and that that's if you if you can participate that in that, please do, because it it really kind of brings the community together. It's a special moment. Um you don't get too many times where you get to be loud and proud. And I think the the sexual freedom parade at Naughty New Orleans is one of the times you you really get to do that.

But definitely like the beignets at Cafe Dubont, and then go into the French Quarter, and um, all you're gonna, that's not far. So, for example, if if you've done a little bit too much partying, maybe the next day, let's go see some of these things and do these things. There's a lot, and there's tours, there's ghost tours, there's all kinds of like little shops in and out of Bourbon Street and some of those, you know, streets that are run right next to it. There's so much to do, so much to do.

But yeah, I mean there's there's and honestly, if you just walk and you ask, there's there's so many really cool, unique, fun stores. So yeah, you're gonna find them. Yeah. All right. So any other, what's your last um advice for people going to Naughty New Orleans, maybe for the first time, or maybe maybe for a second or third time? What what would be your kind of your takeaway for?

Well, I think if it's your first time, hydrate. Try to do as much as you can without overwhelming yourself and just have fun. If you've been a bunch of times and you want to try something different. You know, if you're a if you're a bar hopping person, maybe take a few classes. If you are a class person, venture out to the bars. Um, just try to do something out of your comfort zone.

Um, one other thing we didn't talk about, but maybe we should talk about real quick is the playrooms. Yeah. You want to talk about that? We can a little bit.

Yeah, I mean, honestly, their playrooms are amazing. It's like Dan said in the beginning, it's an entire floor, and you're gonna pick your adventure. I know in the past they've had um buy playrooms. So if you are a buy individual that would like a little bit more privacy and not be safe place. Safe place, um, you have that. They have group orgy areas, they have more secluded areas.

I mean, they've had, I can try to see if I can find it on the schedule real quick to see if there's like if I list what kind they all have this year. Play for. Okay, so we um they also do previews. So if you would like to go and take our preview with the lights on so you don't feel so intimidated, you can do that.

There's no play happening. Yeah, if you just want to walk through the space and kind of get an idea for the layout and what it looks like without there actually being sex happening. I I would recommend going to one of those previews if this is your first swinger event or something like that, kind of getting a walk through that space and getting an idea of what it looks like. We also have a tour video. So if you go on uh the Swing Nations YouTube, we have a we did a walkthrough tour of the playrooms last year. You'll kind of get an idea of what that space looks like if you do that. Uh, but uh the play spaces at Naughty, New Orleans are some of the best uh in the country and and definitely, you know, they're on par with like a uh Naughty, or I'm sorry, with a Bliss cruise or something like that. Uh they do a really good job at laying out those spaces. And and like Lacey said, they even give like certain areas um for uh certain types of play.

Yeah, they even have like a by they they have a by women's and a by male meet and greet, and then a play party after, yeah. Which um Bliss does this um so basically you have a meet and greet, and then right after the meet and greet or during it, there is a play space that if you hit it off of someone, you can just go right in and do it. So yeah, that's perfect. Yeah.

Uh and then I think another thing we didn't talk about is the dungeon space. Um, has probably the most elaborate dungeon we've ever encountered. And I think for a swinger-focused party, I mean, I think outside of like maybe some BDSM conventions, um, they you know, their dungeons way bigger than what's on Bliss Cruise. Uh, I've never seen anything like it. Um, we're hoping to get maybe a little bit of a tour video of that up this year if YouTube doesn't ban it because they're they're very sticklers on that kind of stuff. Yeah. Uh, but to show you that space, it really is amazing. And I know last year they put a lot of work into the dungeon. Uh, and I think this year they're gonna do something very similar. So uh if you are a if you're a kinky swinger, uh, they definitely have some of the the best spaces for that at Naughty New Orleans. And I highly recommend um, even if it's a walkover to the Nopsey again this year to check it out, uh, you need to you need to do that. All right, but I think that's it. Anything else by looking at your list that you see that's a must check out?

Um give the app uh Naughty, the the app for this Naughty just released this last week, and that's what I've been sitting here looking through. It is a very thorough app. I mean, it's got everything, it's even got where to eat. Uh, I mean, it's got like like the team's favorite like dinner spots or quick bites or activities. I mean, like literally there's everything you can think of in this app, and it's gonna be your guide to the week. And then you can you can say what you want to be at, so then it'll condense it.
